Enumclaw Snowshoe with the Dogs

"Must Love Dogs"

Rachel and Ross brought their new dog "Breda" out to Enumclaw to go snowshoeing with me and my dog Ashe. We didn't have to drive far to find about 8 inches of powdery snow to play in. Ashe and Breda immediately started to play. Breda's young exhuberance was intireable. Ashe, my old dog was happy to play but definitely is mellowing with age. Anyway it was a great day to get out on the snowshoes. We hiked an old trail and logging road for about 4 miles. The sun was out and the air was crisp. As you can tell the dogs had a great time. Sometimes these outings are more about the dogs than the humans. Its fun to watch them leap through the snow. Roll around in it. Catch snowballs, and generally enjoy life. I think many dog owners are like their companions. They can find fun and adventure in the simple things in life.
